...well, you know how the rest of it goes.
Remember this post?
I paid off that car today. It's all ours, and it feels good.
I'm re-reading The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey this week, trying to strengthen my resolve to live a different kind of life. It's hard to change your way of looking at the world but I'm doing it now while I have both time and a husband with a good job.
Wow that's impressive! A few years ago car loans were 5 years and now they are 6 years. Its really sad how much money we still owe on our van after 2 years, so good job on paying it off in 2! I just had a mini lesson on Dave Ramsey in Relief society (more like a really long comment that nobody asked for). From what I hear he is awesome.
ReplyDeleteAfter paying off the house about 10 years early, we decided we'd try that with all debt. It worked on the next two cars we bought--just paying extra each month brings down the principle amount of the loan.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a really good job, Amy. I'm very impressed!
