Oh the thinks you can think!

Do you remember that Dr. Seuss book? I don't recall that we had that one in particular when I was a kid but we had lots of others.

Thinks I've had on my mind lately:
  • The Glass Castle
  • The Elegance of the Hedgehog
  • Transcendentalism
  • Relief Society
  • Visiting Teaching
  • New babies
  • Scaling everything back
  • Expanding my horizons
  • Should I became a hermit?
  • If powdered milk smells terrible, has it gone bad? Because even if it's still good, it will taste terrible, right?
  • Smoking televisions, leaky plumbing and a/c problems
  • Am I a fraud?

It sounds like a funny story, right? Now to get it into rhyming verse...

  1. Scaling everything back and expanding your horizons...

    ...I wonder how that works!

  2. Why would you be a fraud? I wonder all the time if I am. I would like to think I would know if I was a fraud.

  3. I HIGHLY recommend the Elegance of the Hedgehog. Loved it. There are two F-bombs which were I thought useless and out of place. In fact, I wonder if the translator put those in. I can't imagine that an author with that kind of vocabulary would need that word ever.

And no you should not become a hermit because I would miss you immensely.

I do think Dr. Seuss would approve of smoking tvs, leaky plumbing, elegant hedgehogs, babies, glass castles, and visiting teachers as long as they look like the cat in the hat and bring their clean up machines.

And I think with all this modern technology, someone should invent a way to make fresh milk last for a year so we can do away with powdered milk altogether. Maybe the preservative can taste like chocolate...
